Welcome to the team! We are thrilled to have you at CHC. We know you are going to be a valuable asset to our company and can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
On your first day, please remember to bring acceptable documents listed on the I-9 form. Our dress code is business casual. For your first day, though, please arrive by 8:00 a.m., and feel free to park in any unmarked spot in the parking lot.
Check in with either Amy or Terri, our receptionist. They will let us know when you arrive Your manager or designated buddy will meet you in the lobby to introduce you to the team, show you to your workstation, and take you on a quick office tour. (And help you with your first training task: learning how to use our fancy copy machine!)
You will meet with both Donna Kronenberg, Director of HR and Patty Copp, HR Generalist for your new hire orientation. Please be prepared to have some fun and share interesting stories about yourself during our scheduled a team lunch.

Donna is an accomplished HR professional, with over 17 years of experience. Her work in talent management and strategies has helped to keep CHC ahead of the curve in acquiring some of the best talent in the industry and keeping them through employee development and cutting edge benefits programs. Donna spearheaded implementing new strategies for recruiting, training and retaining elite employees and continues to look at new and inventive ways to make working at CHC more than just a job. She also chairs the 401K Investment Committee, is a member of the ESOP Administrative Committee, a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), and a board member of the Alameda-NCHRA region.
Donna Kronenberg, Director of HR, SPHR
Donna takes her other “title” of Mom very seriously and is passionate about family. You can find her dancing and generally being silly just to make her family smile. To keep focused she enjoys running. It has taught her patience, discipline, and strategy. She considers it a bonus that it cancels out the occasional enjoyment of a sweet treat or glass of wine!
Patty started her career with CHC 14 years ago as an Expeditor in Flowtherm Systems. Eventually, she was promoted to Executive Assistant and Facilities Manager. However, her passion has always been to help others grow, so she pursued a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Cal State East Bay.
Due to her persistence and dedication to the company, she was promoted to Human Resources Manager. She has flourished in that role by recruiting top talent, assisting with the creation of CHC’s Onboarding Program, and managing safety. If this was not enough, she also earned her Associate Professional Human Resources Certificate at the same time.
Patty Copp, CHC Human Resources Generalist, aPHR
Patty’s greatest accomplishment in life is raising four kind and successful kids (three boys and one girl)! She loves to spend time with her husband and her grandchildren. At the end of the day, Patty has said she likes to have made a difference wherever she has been in whatever she was doing. She is always looking for new ways to do just that.
